Why the High Cost of Zinc7 When Most Zinc Supplements are Inexpensive?

When we initially received our quote from the manufacturer for Zinc7, we asked the same question. We learned that, first of all, not all zinc is created equal. There are some types of lower-quality or cheaper zinc to manufacture. Our supplement combines seven of the most potent zinc’s on the market, each with its unique benefit to human health.
The second thing we learned is that most zinc supplements contain fillers. Fillers are added ingredients to bulk up supplements so that the capsules don’t appear to be half full. The active ingredient of a supplement, in this case, Zinc, often makes up for an incredibly small proportion of it because the quantities included are very small both in dosage and in size (measured in micrograms; 1mcg being one-millionth of a gram).
Fillers include cheap ingredients like rice flour, starch, vegetable gum, titanium dioxide, silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, hydrogenated oils, and talc.
We are not willing to compromise on the quality and wide range of Zincs included in Zinc7, nor are we interested in bulking up the supplement. We’ve also gone above, and beyond certified Zinc7 with Non-Toxic Project, so you can buy confidence knowing your supplement is of the highest quality. This stringent process tests every single ingredient for heavy metals and pathogens. As a result, many zinc products are cheaper, but you pay for what you get.
Most zinc products on the market contain one form of zinc, no more than two, and various fillers and bulking agents. So if we intend to turn a profit, the money is in low-cost, high sales supplements. But we stand behind the quality of the product and the formula combined with ingredients like rose hips for the ultimate cellular delivery of all 7 Zinc forms.
Finally, we spared no cost in quality, down to the capsule. Unfortunately, many vegetable capsules don’t protect the integrity of the supplement, which is why we use Purple VCAPs, a patented VCAP technology for perfect nutrient delivery.
We have created a “Ferrari Zinc Product,” and the price reflects the work, quality, and care that goes into making this product.
That being said, we are actively looking at ways to invest in even larger bulk buying of our ingredients and larger product runs to continue to bring down costs to the consumer. The success of this product suggests we will be able to do so in the future.
For those interested in a high-quality Zinc but can’t dive into Zinc7 just yet, we also have a single form of Zinc to offer for you to utilize called CytoZinc, priced at $19.
