Product Highlight: Spectra Two
Share
Spectra Two is the first 100% herbal-based multi-vitamin supplement that delivers the essential fat-soluble nutrients you need. This product highlight will explore some of the foundational nutrients selected to cover your bases daily, in Spectra Two.
Vitamin A
Vitamin A is a nutrient important to vision, growth, cell division, reproduction, and immunity 1. Spectra Two contains the plant-based retinol precursor known as Beta Carotene, the building block for human bioavailable Vitamin A.
Vitamin D3 and K2 Combo
Most people know how crucial Vitamin D3 is for human health but are less aware of the synergy between D3 and Vitamin K2. Together, these nutrients ensure calcium from food is deposited in the bones and not in the arteries 2.
There are two forms of vitamin K, MK-1, and MK-2. The MK-1 forms are plant-based and less bioavailable than the animal-based forms of MK-2 3. Spectra Two combines Vitamin D-3 with the MK-2 form of Vitamin-K for maximum absorption.
Coenzyme Q10
Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone/ubiquinol) is a fat-soluble quinone with a structure similar to that of vitamin K 4. It goes by many names, including Coenzyme Q10, also known as Coenzyme Q, CoQ, CoQ10, Ubiquinone, Ubiquinone-Q10, Ubidecarenone, and is so important to human health that many even call it Vitamin Q10.
CoQ10 has the highest concentrations in organs with high metabolism rates, such as the heart, kidney, and liver, where it functions as an energy transfer molecule. Coenzyme Q10 is one of the most significant lipid antioxidants, which prevents the proliferation of free radicals and modifications of proteins, lipids, and DNA. CoQ10 is essential for the health of virtually all human tissues and organs 4.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is the next fat-soluble vitamin found in Spectra Two in the form of Tocotrienols. Vitamin E’s antioxidant effects help protect your cells from oxidative damage by neutralizing harmful molecules called free radicals. Vitamin E is also needed for proper immune function, cellular signaling, and eye health 5.
Nourishing Oils
Although isolated fat-soluble vitamins like A, D, E, and K are important, Spectra Two also harnesses the power of whole-food fatty acids from Pumpkin Seed, Black Cumin, Seabuckthorn, Olive, and Borage.
- Pumpkin Seed Oil is loaded with nutrients and phytochemicals that have been shown to improve heart health, increase hair growth, and support urinary tract health 6.
- Black Cumin Oil supports the endocannabinoid system, promoting various health markers, including weight loss, digestive health, and healthy joints 7.
- Seabuckthorn Oil contains various vitamins and minerals that support healthy skin, balanced blood sugar levels, liver health, and overall immune health 8.
- Olive Oil is packed with polyphenols and has been linked with cardiovascular health, memory and brain function, balanced blood sugar, and a reduction in inflammation 9-10.
- The GLA found in Borage Oil can regulate the body's immune system and fight joint inflammation 11.
The Spectra One and Two Combo
Spectra One is all about the water-soluble nutrients, while Spectra Two covers the fat-soluble vitamins. Together, you are provided with a solid, full-spectrum foundation for your daily nutritional needs.
