This formula contains anti-submicroscopic infective agents based on the effective use of the American (Leptotoenia) and Brazilian (Pau D’Arco) Indian herbal traditions. Pau D' Arco strengthens the immune system and can be used as an expectorant. Leptotaenia oil works as a bronchial, intestinal, and urinary antiseptic and is one of nature's most potent infection fighters.
WARNING: When using any anti-infective formula (#3, #4, ATAK, GOLD, and/or VIVI), it is best to continue their use for two full weeks after all symptoms and signs of infection have been eliminated. This will strengthen the body and minimize the chance of the return of a low-grade infection.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: It is not recommended to use lomatium during pregnancy or nursing. Lomatium can cause a "die-off" of pathogens that may be too much for some people's systems to handle. Overdosing can lead to a mild skin rash that looks like hives, due to viral and bacterial die-offs, as well as epigenetic factors. If you experience a rash, stop taking VIVI until it subsides. A soaking bath in 2 lbs. Epsom salts + 2 lbs. baking soda can help reduce the rash. Once the rash is gone, most people can resume taking lomatium because their systems have become accustomed to it, and the herb will be beneficial for the rest of their lives.

In rare cases, a rash may develop as a result of toxin elimination. Soaking in a baking soda bath will normally reduce this condition; repeat as needed.
